The Journey…

Everything to me is a chance to explore. Traveling the world since I was 19 . I have met the most interesting people . I wish I had a camera then.

I took on a 9/5 job after my National Service in the Air Force RSAF. Have an amazing life climbing the cooperate ladder until 2008 financial crisis happened . My Boss had to close the company and give us severance . I took the money bought a camera and an air ticket to New York.

New York is like a movie ,locations from my favorite movies, celebrities walking on the streets, the bustling , the energy.

I took pictures of everything and anything hoping to be some kind of photographer .

I guess telling people I am a photographer is better than telling them I am unemployed.

I slept on couches until friends patience ran out and I have to make new friends so I can have another couch to sleep for the night.

By chance I met some people who worked in the photo industry . I begged them to bring me on set.

I worked for food, I worked really hard so I can get to come back to set so I have meals.

I learned about professional lighting and cameras set up for commercial advertising clients.

One thing lead to another , I started getting request from publications and clients.

I have since work commercially in Entertainment and Fashion.

For my personal work I seek out sub-cultures to document .
